Q1 2021 Performance of Top Investing Apps on iOS in Latin America

In the first quarter of 2021, the investing and financial management app landscape on iOS in Latin America showcased significant user interaction and download trends. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into how these apps performed during this period.

IQ Broker experienced a noticeable peak in downloads, reaching approximately 31K in the week of January 25, followed by a gradual decline to around 14K by the end of March. Weekly active users displayed an upward trend, peaking at nearly 86K active users in the same January week, and then slightly decreasing to around 71K active users by the quarter's close.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw an impressive surge in weekly active users, from around 44K at the start of the quarter to approximately 123K by the end of March. Downloads followed a similar upward trajectory, with a significant jump to about 23K in the second week of February and maintaining strong numbers, ending the quarter with around 23K downloads.

XP Investimentos, a Brazil-based app, also showed growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads saw a substantial rise in mid-March, hitting nearly 17K, while active users increased steadily from 130K to over 167K in the same month.

Binomo displayed a more modest trend in downloads, starting and ending the quarter with around 5K downloads. Active users, however, peaked in mid-March at around 10K, before declining to approximately 7K by quarter's end.

Lastly, Investing.com: Stock Market revealed a steady performance in revenue, with a notable spike to $1.2K in the first week of January. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at around 5K in early January, while weekly active users remained strong, starting at approximately 80K and reaching a high of 95K in late February.
